5a - 5b High Street

This is a brick building with an English garden bond, the roof is a modern concrete tile ridge roof. It has a large rectangular brick chimney with no pots. There are three single entrances on the ground floor, two are situated with the two shop fronts and the third is in the centre and that leads to apartment on the upper floors.

On the first floor there are four modern casement windows with stone lintels and voussoirs, the secnd floor is similar, but without stone lintels. There is a shop sign on the north side of the western wall. There is brick decoration on the front wall to mimic quoin stones. The roof line has kneelers and corbel (dog tooth) decoration.
