17 and 18 High Street
This building’s front elevation shows a prominent classical style façade with brick, all stretchers. The ground floor has large timber window which is divided. There is a double door at each end on the ground floor.
On the first and second floors have vertical sash windows. The central window on ground floor has additional classical ornamentation, including tapered Ionic pilasters. There is a curtain wall with railings to the south end. To the rear of the building, the ground floor has two large windows with arched brick lintels and concrete sills. The first and second floors have fixed windows with arched brick lintels. There is also a basement entrance with a small wall and railings.
