COMMENTS
| This image shows the end of a ball or rod mill with the bearing surface in the centre. The polished journal surface has been protected with a protective coating therefore this must be being prepared for shipment. The drive shaft and pinion in the background would drive the gear around the shell of the mill. Photo was taken in the fitting shop at Stockton Forge with part of the big lathe just seen at the edge of the shot. | David O\'Neill |
