Yarm Library re-opened in September 2016 after extensive refurbishment and in partnership with The Newcastle Building Society.
To celebrate this innovative collaboration Newcastle Building Society interviewed local Yarm people of all ages to capture memories and experiences of growing up, living and working in Yarm. These oral history recordings were complemented by photography from Pete Robinson, exhibited in the library and made available online.
