Lindsey House on the High Street

This now demolished building was a U shaped with a rear service area. It is three storeys high and was constructed with brick, concrete and glass. The roof is flat and possesses no chimneys. There are four single entrances and one double entrance on the ground floor that are set into five modern shop fronts.

The ground floor also has marble covered concrete pillars. The first and second floors have metal casement windows, with panelling below the second storey casement windows. The first floor has a partial concrete balcony and mosaic covered circular pillars. Towards one end of the structure is a wide brick pillar extending from the shop fronts through the first and second floors.

There are two doors on the south side of the structure but aside from that it is similar to the front, with only two modern shop fronts. The same applies to the north side but this has only one shop front. The rear service area has a ground floor extension with a variety of casement windows and single doors at varying heights. There are also metal fire escapes.
