Leeds Hotel 37 Bishopton Lane
This is a H shaped building with range to front (north) elevation and a linked range to the rear elevation. Front range is of two storeys with rendered brick. It has two ground floor entrances and two picture windows, there is one further picture window on the west elevation and probable blocked window opening.
The ‘shop’ front covers the ground floor and has some decorative work on the door casings. The latter extend above the current line of the ‘shop’ front and probably represent an earlier decorative scheme. There are two transverse stacks each of a single flue depth, one in the middle the other at the east end.
The doorways are at the opposite end to the stacks and this may have been built as a double house unit before being amalgamated into a single building. The rear range is heavily rendered and this conceals blocked openings at first and probably ground floor level. The gable end has been raised, all roof are slated.
