Green Dragon Theatre

The south elevation of brick (old and thin) with coursing all stretchers. The ground floor has pantiled monopitch roof. Cast iron down pipes and wooden guttering. There is a modern entrance of metal and glass. The east elevation has ground floor of random rubble (e.g. sandstone) with brick (old and thin) above, coursing mainly stretchers.

In the passageway between Green Dragon and Theatre Yards the brickwork (coursing one header and five stretchers) of old and thin bricks has been shaped to allow better access. There is a similar entrance to that on the south. elevation. Ground floor has 2 x 12 pane vertical sash windows with a bricked up window. Like the west elevation, the east elevation has various tie rods/supports with pantiled gable roof pitched east-west.

There is a plaque commemorating the re-opening of the Theatre. The west elevation is rendered and has some rubble at ground floor level and brick at first floor level with coursing of one header and four stretchers. Above the west elevation is a pantiled gable roof pitched E-W. On the ground floor of the west elevation is an exit door. No windows on the west elevation. Other features on the west elevation include : eye bolt, three small metal tie rods, ground floor buttress of brick and render and two more substantial support ties at first floor level. The part next to 2 Theatre Yard (south elevation) is of brick with mixed coursing, pantiled gable roof pitched south-north. There are two vents in the roof and cast iron down pipes and guttering. The ground floor has one blocked window and one Yorkshire sash of eight panes with brick lintel and wooden sill. first floor has one Yorkshire sash plus 1 x 2 pane vertical sash with wooden sills.
