Electricity Substation Ramsgate

This is a single storey brick building in stretcher bond The building is in a walled and fenced compound stretching from Ramsgate to Exchange Yard. The roof is flat with felt. There is one single and one double door on the E side. The building has no windows but many ventilation louvres.

There is a brick parapet to north and south sides and a taller parapet to the West. Corners of the compound wall show evidence of much older brickwork from previous buildings on the site. Some of this is English bond five stretcher to one header with some smaller bricks.
