This three storey building is partly rendered and a stone block construction. No. 4 Church Road is rendered to the ground floor only whereas no. 6 has rendering to all floors, which is smooth to the ground floor and rough to the first and second floors. The building has a gabled roof; no. 4 is modern slate whilst No 6 is of older slate. There are three transverse rectangular chimney stacks; the centre stack, between properties no. 4 and 6, looks like a later addition. From left to right, the stacks have two, two and three clay pots. Here are 3 single doors (1 for no. 4 and 2 for no. 6) and one double door (no. 4). To the ground floor, no. 4 has one window of 24 (4x6) small panes (non-opening); no. 6 has one set of 3 vertical sash windows of 6 panes.

To the first floor, no. 4 has one sash windows which are blacked out; no. 6 has two modern top-opening casement windows. The arrangement of windows on the second floor is the same as that on the first floor. All first and second floor windows were originally alike; the lintels to no., 6 have been slightly modified. No. 4 has a square plaque depicting two birds and foliage. There is a drainpipe down the centre of the building, to above the ground floor, then runs left across to left hand side of building, to join the drainpipe, with a hopper between ground and 1st floor levels. Wooden PH boarding extends above windows and doors on no.6 and pillars flank the doors and windows on no.6.
