Calvin House, Green Dragon Yard

This is a four storey brick building with mortar bond in English Garden Wall. The front elevation there are two shop fronts on the ground floor. They have a single door and a square window each frames in a wooden from with ionic pillar dressing. There is a double entrance centrally located on the ground floor giving access to the upper domestic residences. This has an external step with iron railings, and arched window and arched brick lintels. The first and second floors have two large windows consisting of four hinged panes with arched brick lintels. The third floor is much the same, however the lintels are of vertical brick.

In addition to this there is a small hatch window located centrally on first floor. Above that is a former service entrance that has been modified into a window, this lies on a mezzanine level between the first and second floor. Directly above this is a further window located on a mezzanine level between the second and third floor, and directly above that on the third floor is a small air vent. Four tie plates are visible from this elevation and there are centrally located. To the north and east elevation there three small windows to the right hand side, one on the first, second and third floors. The roof is gable with pan-tiles. There are no chimneys. There is a truncated ground floor corner on the north western corner of the building.
