Apex House & Silver Court, Calvert’s Lane

Early century 21st brick building with limited ornamentation coursing of stretchers. The composite tiled roof with a variety of pitches including mono. No chimneys evident. East elevation has double entrance with canopy and two rectangular bay windows on each floor. The windows on the ground floor had metal frames those above had UVPC with top hinged opening. Similar windows are on the north and south elevations. South elevation had an oriel window metal framed South elevation has three entrances including a disabled access.

Other features: on each elevation there were two courses of projecting brick (cornice) on the north elevation the entrance to Silver Court has classical style with stone pilasters and pediment. The north elevation has ground floor retail frontage of three fixed panes with wooden architrave and a classical style. Another part had similar with one pane. The north east corner is an atrium of glass with metal frame from ground to top floor. The east elevation is fronted by low wall surmounted by a metal railing.
