94 High Street
This brick building rendered to the front. The building has been substantially redeveloped on the front elevation. Original sash windows have been replaced with two large arched windows that extend over the first and second floors. On the ground floor there is a shop front with two double entrances and two windows that indicate that the commercial space could easily have been divided into two. The side of the building that runs alongside Little Brown Lane is built of brick, whilst the right half is pebble dashed. There are five (two double, three single) entrances to the building on the side elevation. There are also four windows on the ground floor with metal cladding, and there are signs of a further two windows that have now been bricked up.
On the first storey there is one window. There is one double warehouse door that has now been boarded on the bottom two panes, and glass inserted on the top two panes with a metal grille attached. On the second floor there is four windows, two of which are blocked. To the rear of the building the brick is laid out in a simple stretcher design. There are no windows on the ground floor, however brick work would suggest that there where previously three windows.
On the first floor there are two windows, one in the centre and one to the right. Again there is also evidence of a third window to the left in the brickwork. There is a canopy extending approximately three meters which is tiled with slate. Photographic evidence would suggest that this is a very recent addition; probably in the past year. The majority of that is visible is clearly a later extension as evident by the different architectural styles and materials used, compared to the earlier rendered walls. This extension only consists of two floors, and not three unlike the rest of the building. As mentioned only the first floor is visible and within this floor there are four windows, and one further window that is now blocked. There is a pitched roof at the front that runs transversely.
Further to this, there are two sets of two pitched roofs that run at right angles to this. To the rear of the building, covering the extension, there is a simple flat roof. It is not clear from aerial photography or building survey if there are chimneys present.
