74-76 Norton Road (Victoria Terrace)
The two storey mid-terrace house built in brick with English garden wall bond with mortar bonding and a slate ridged roof. There are two entrances sharing a pillared porch which has three pillars. Each house has two sash windows on the ground floor and three sash windows on the first floor. There is a stone stringer below the window level on the ground and first floors. There is a chimney at the north and south end at the block of two houses with 4-6 pots on each. The brickwork is slightly different to the adjacent 78-82 Victoria Terrace, suggesting possible later build date.
The basement windows are not visible. The rear is a extension at right angles to the main building with a ridged roof with tiles. This extension appears to date from some years after the original building but is not modern.
On the first floor, number 74 has one modern window to the back of the main building with brick lintel and a stone sill. Number 76 has a four-pane sash window with brick lintel and stone sill. The extension on number 74 and 76 have windows on the side, one is a tall, arched window and there are two sash windows and one sash window.
The rear wall of 76 has one sash window with brick lintel and stone sill and a wide wooden roller door (sliding). Number 74 has a two-pane window on the first floor rear wall, two UPVC window to the ground floor as part of a single storey extension. This building has long gardens with stone gate pillars and wrought iron fencing.
