6 Ramsgate

This is a two storey brick building in stretcher bond. The roof is flat and appears to be felted. At the rear (south side) there is a step change in roof level with a parapet to the west end. Part of this roof is ridged and partly slated. There is a glazed door and a double window with curved top and wood moulding below to the ground floor. Also an entrance to barbers shop between this and No 7-8. There is a shop facia and advertising sign. On the first floor is a three-pane casement window with two side-hinged panes and a fixed central pane.

This shop occupies a large part of the block containing 6-8 Ramsgate. It extends behind 7- 8 and runs back to Exchange Yard. The south side (Exchange Yard) has three doors, one an emergency exit and one small window to the ground floor. It has seven plain modern windows to the first floor. The west side close to Exchange Yard has one three-pane window and another partly bricked from the inside.
