55 – 57 Dovecot Street
The house with ground floor adapted for commercial retail, currently empty formally Rapid Colour a photography shop. Brick and mortar with concrete rendering, probably stretchers underneath. Left side has a pitched slate roof while the right appears flat. One brick rectangular transverse chimney with four pots.
On the ground floor has no windows visible owing to shutters. Windows on the first floor are boarded up and have concrete sills. Other features include on the ground floor decorative wooden pilasters between shop fronts and with some brickwork visible. On first floor two shop signs to the left, modern plastic drainage pipes. Wall 2 (east): Rendered wall with three wooden beam ends visible near the roof line.
