A commercial building with a shop on the ground floor and hairdressers on the first floor with living accommodation above (partly in the roof space). Gabled pitched roof with concrete tiles. Transverse brick and rendered chimney stack.

Wall 1 (south): First floor is rendered, bay window on first floor with dormer window (decorative woodwork) partly in the roof. Ground floor has a shop front with single entrance and a further entrance to first floor.

Wall 4 (north): Rear of commercial building with brick and mortar and English garden wall bond. Windows have been much altered with several in fills. Ground floor window has wooden lintel and a vertical brick arch. Second floor has one sash window with wooden frame and lintel.

The first and second floor have two very small windows with wooden lintels and the first floor one is bricked internally. To the left are cast iron drain pipes (Victorian) elsewhere modern plastic pipes. At first floor level there is evidence of an earlier building to the left joining to Yarm Lane.
