38 High Street
The building appears to be constructed from dressed stone blocks, possibly cut, with a roof of slate. It is difficult to see the extent of the roof to determine with any certainty its profile, or if any chimneys are present. There is a double entrance on the ground floor, with standard shop windows.
The three floors above show three rows of three single light windows with metal frames, which appear to swivel vertically, separated by black recessed panels of possibly a polished stone cladding. To the rear elevation, the building appears to be of modern brick with concrete ‘lintels’ spanning the width of the building [possibly structural to support existing buildings on either side].
