The Stag Inn is a three storey building, with a rendered brick. Gabled slate roof. Two brick chimneys, rectangular stacks, one transverse, mid building (twin cowls) and one transverse on east gable. Single doorway offset to east, creating 1/3 to 2/3 division.

The ground floor three display windows, with large pane and three smaller panes above. First floor, three single pane vertical sash windows with stone sills Second Floor, three PVC two pane casement windows with stone sills Ground floor timber frontage with painted tiling at base of ground floor windows, wooden architraves and pilasters. Tie plate at first floor level Wooden pub sign.
