32 Dovecot Street

A brick building with headers bonded by mortar on the front elevation. The slate ridged roof has a rectangular chimney on the western side with three pots and the same to the east. At each end of the building there are quoin stones. There is a single front door with a casing pediment and pillars. There are the remains of three blocked up windows for the cellar, they are surround by an iron fence.

The ground floor has three sash windows, first floor has four sash windows and the second floor is the same to the first. All the windows have brick lintels with stone key stones. At roof level there appears to be a parapet along the front. The rear part of the building is brick English garden bond. There is one chimney on the east side of the building. Between the first and ground floor there is a venetian window with voussoirs.

On the first floor there is two sliding sash windows, this is the same with the second floor with the addition of a small window. There is a four pane window between the first and second floors. There is an external yard with brick wall that has been added to over the years, complete with a door. In the yard is an outbuilding parallel to the main building with a modern slate roof. On the west side there is another outbuilding at right angles to the main building with three barred windows on the east side.
