32-34 William Street/Brunswick Court

This is a public building with two storeys, early 19th century. Currently arranged with office units, most of which appear empty. Brick and mortar with Flemish bond, a pitched slate roof, three brick transverse chimneys towards the left end of the building with no pots visible.

Wall 1(east) There are two single entrances one at each end and a double entrance in the centre. Ground floor has eight windows with brick sills and arches. The top of the windows have fan light design with three lights, all have wooden frames and are sash style and covered with security mesh. On the first floor there are ten windows like those on the ground floor, but with stone sills. To the left of the building are two sash windows with stone sills but no arches and have security shutters.

Other features include brick ornamentation on the extreme left chimney stack, a central door with two stone pillars and a three stone arch, all resting on a stone and brick base. This entrance has wrought iron work and a gate leading to a courtyard. The wall has six brick vents to the left of the centre. Immediately below the guttering is a string course and brick corbelling. The left end of the building shows a brick bracket at the top, cast iron drainpipes and some floodlighting.

Wall 3(North): Brick and mortar rendered with Flemish bond. there is one brick and rendered chimney stack transverse. Some brick decoration under the roofline and modern plastic guttering on the right hand side.
