The ground floor facing West Row is used as a shop, behind and above this are a number of flats, which are accessed by two separate entrances. Three storey, rendered building. The rear facade is only partially rendered. The visible brickwork displays evidence of structures that were formerly built up against this facade. The portion of a building facing West Row, has a double pitched roof covered in pantiles. The rest of the building is covered by a roof of the same construction that is at right angles to this. Openings in the West Row facade are as follows: 1. Ground floor. To the north is the entrance into a covered alleyway that gives access to the rear portions of the building. This has a metal, barred, gate and a plain wooden surround. To the south is a shop front topped by a projecting, angled advertising sign. Below this, to the left, is a single door and two plate glass windows. 2. First and second floors. Two windows per floor, all of the same style. There are four fixed panes of glass at the bottom. Above these are a pair of opening lights, each containing two panes. Each sill projects from the face of the building. There are two windows, one per floor, in the rear facade of the front portion of the building, above the entrance to the yard. That on the first floor is of six, three above three, panes. The second floor window has twelve panes, with the top six opening. This form of window is also used in the north facing facade. Openings in the north facing facade are as follows: 1. Ground floor. Only the western most portion of the ground floor is visible, the remainder being behind a screen, with a single door, that divides the yard. In the visible portion there is a single doorway to the west and a window to the left of this. This window is flanked by pilasters and a worn doorstep is visible at the right. It is possible that the space was formerly occupied by a shop front. The window is split into four segments, each of eight panes. There are two opening lights, each of six panes. 2. First and second floors. Six windows per floor. A gutter, attached to a wooden barge board, runs along the West Row facade. It wraps around the north western corner of the building and discharges into a down comer that empties onto the roof of 25 West Row. A similar gutter runs along the rear of this portion of the building and along the rear extension.
