22 Dovecot Street
The building appears to be of rendered brick with two chimneys of good quality red brick. The one on the west has four pots and the one on the east has three pots. The frontage is unusual in style reminiscent of a Spanish type of building. The ground floor has what is almost a portico with three sets of double doors inset. This frontage has four arches of which the easternmost has windows while the others surround the entrance which has a low balcony with metal railings. The first floor has sash windows with stone sills, lintels and surrounds. The second floor appears to have a prominent stringer course rendered just below. There is a small ornamented feature just below the roof. There is also a small parapet feature up the ridge of the roof this is covered by flashing where it adjoins number 1 Wellington Square. Below first floor windows is a narrow balcony with metal railings below the end windows. At the rear the view is restricted but there appears to be three extensions all at right angles to the main building. They reduce in height to the north and seem to be of brick with slate roofs. There is an old wall running the length of the extensions which seems to have been rendered at some point. Each extension had a chimney at the north end the first has two pots as does the second. The third has no pots. Some of the roofs have glazed panels. The only other window visible is a small casement on the first floor of the second extension.
