18-22 Bishopton Lane

This is a three storey three bay brick building in English Garden wall bond. The roof is tiled ridge with three dormlets. The ground floor has six large glass windows with two double doors and shop type fascia above.

On the first floor has a single two paned window either side of a triple windows. This is repeated on each bay and on the second floor. Window sills are of stone and lintels are alternating brick and stone Vousoirs. There are brick pillars at the ends of each of the bays all surmounted with a small pedestal with a stone ball ornament. The Dormlets are ornamented with stone coping and surmounted by a small stone pediment. Each have a central ornament semi circular feature with stone and brick surround and terracotta tiles in the middle. The cast iron rainwater goods have slightly ornamented hopper boxes. There is a metal tie rod on each bay between first and second floors. The side walls are lesser quality bricks.

At the rear is a narrow two storey extension and a much bigger single storey extension with flat roofs. At right angles to the main building is a 2-3 storey extension with a ridge roof there are 4-5 smaller windows along the west side. At the north end are three small windows at second floor level and a large modern three pane casement window. On the ground floor is a garage door with a protruding facia with black painted over name (Stockton Beds Warehouse) On the east side the walls are painted render with some vertical columns protruding slightly.
