14 Yarm Lane
This is a commercial building currently an office and shop mix of three storeys. The roof is made of slate with a mansard at the front and rear pitched with living space. A central transverse chimney stack with six pots and decorative coving. At each end shared transverse stack with the western end having three pots for this building on the eastern side the entire stack appears to be missing.
Wall 1 (south): First and second floors are rendered. The ground floor consists of shop front windows with one double entrance and three single entrances. On the first and second floor are six double glazed windows, three top hung and three bottom hung. In the roof are three lights. Other features include decorative pediments on first floor windows, ashlar design in the rendering on the first floor, string course at the first floor level and decorative string coursing on the second floor.
Wall 4 (north): Brick and mortar with English garden wall bond. On the ground floor are two double glazed bottom hung windows with ten on the first floor and five on the second floor. The roof has one dormer and two lights. On the first and second floor the windows are recessed with brick arches. Other features include modern plastic downpipe guttering.
