13 - 15 Yarm Lane & 15 Yarm Street

This building occupies three different addresses and has a multitude of various functions and spaces. The roof for this building is half hipped and covered in concrete tiles. There are two chimneys both are built of brick and run transversely. From the front elevation (Yarm Lane) there are one single and one double entrance located on the ground floor in association with two separate commercial entities. There are also four gallery windows, two each associated with the two businesses. Beneath these windows the walls are covered with stone cladding.

On the first floor there are five wooded framed windows each with a small opening pane at the top and a stone sill. On the second floor there are also five windows located directly above the first floor windows. These are also wooden with smaller opening panes at the top, have stone sills and a decorative stone lintel.

The side elevation is of a substantial size and is separated into a multiple commercial spaces. The walls are of rendered brick, with the exception of below the gallery window on the right which is surrounded by stone cladding.

On the ground floor there are two single entrances with two double entrances. There is also one large wooden sliding service door located to the far left hand side. There are three gallery windows in association with the fishing shop on the far right. The record shop, which is centrally located, has two regular consisting of two panes each. There is also a small service hatch located in the left hand side of the building that is covered by a wooden panel, and only accessible when the service door is closed.

On the first floor there are nine windows in total. The first three windows from the left are identical which consist of one large and two small panes with a stone sill. The following three all have stone sills, two are of a regular size, three pane windows whilst the third is narrower. The next two windows are above the fishing shop, are close together and quite small. They consist of two panes. The last window located on the far right is a two paned window. All of the windows have stone sills. The second floor has again nine windows. The first three are of a similar width, but shorter in length, to the ones directly below on the far left. These windows have been boarded up. The middle four windows consists of three four paned windows with a smaller window located to their right which has two panes. On the far right hand side of the building a further two windows are located, one with four panes and the other with two. These all associated stone sills. The roof is hipped with concrete tiles. There is a small brick chimney to the left of the building, this is without a pot. Towards the right of the roof there is a large ancillary plant. This is a probably later feature as the brick appears to be more modern then the rest of the building. Present on the first floor level are two adjacent iron ties with a further tie located on the second floor.

In comparison to this there is also a further three iron ties on the back elevation, located transversely on the second floor. To rear elevation of the building there is a recession on the left hand corner. The walls are built of brick. With an English garden wall bond. The roof is half hipped with concrete tiles. There is one chimney which is rectangular in shape, as previously mentioned there is no pot. On the ground floor there are two large arched windows and one smaller square windows, all of which are blocked and have associated sills. In addition to this there is a window located on the ground floor of the recessed wall.

On the second floor there are four windows, of which the one on the left hand side is smaller then the other three whilst the one on the right is blocked. There is also another window located in the recessed wall at this level. On the third floor there are three medium sized windows of which the outer two are blocked. On the recessed wall at this level there is a vent which is no longer functional as it is painted over.
