1 Wasp Nest Yard
The building consists mainly of new bricks (possibly waterstruck) and mortar with coursing, the brick pattern is all stretchers. There are two stone courses below the roof line. The roof has flat central section with steep pitch on three sides, with a simulated tile covering. There is a residential accommodation in the roof space. No chimneys are apparent. The ground floor has one double entrance within retail and a service frontage on the south elevation. The west elevation has two single entrances and one double (substation) with two small and one larger casement windows and one roof light of three panes.
On the south elevation are two four-pane casement windows (side hinged) and one eight-pane casement (top hinged) plus four roof lights (two central ones of two panes and two outer ones of three panes). The south elevation has two ventilation grids. The building has rendered sections on the south and west elevations as well as a modern red brick infill.
