Picture Stockton

The Picture Stockton website is administered by the Stockton Library Service and was officially launched in June 2004. Originally intended to make the images held by both the Stockton Library Service and Museum Service more accessible to the general public, the site has developed into a comprehensive pictorial record of the social history of our area. Thanks mainly to the generous donations of photographs from those who visit the site – for which we are very grateful. We encourage visitors to add their comments, memories and stories to the images on the site – and we welcome contributions of suitable images and photographs. Visit Picture Stockton

Digital War Memorial

The Digital War Memorial is a project led by the Society of Chief librarians. It brings together a wide range of communities to work with high quality artists to create their own unique creative response to the First World War Centenary.
