I am a textile artist and I decided that I would take the opportunity to create a piece of work that would not only reflect my love of silk painting and drawing with the sewing machine, but that it would incorporate my C19 walks capturing the local wildlife. The wall hanging is quilted and incorporates silk painted 3D pieces along with Swarovski Crystal beads.
