Henry John Jeal

On Armistice Day we’re very grateful to Keith Jeal for sharing with us his quest to learn more about his Grandfather, Henry John Jeal, who was killed at Passchendaele in 1917:

I made a very emotional visit in September this year to Dozinghem Cemetery to see my grandfather`s grave. It was only very recently that I obtained information about the location of the grave. In almost 100 years none of Henry`s family had ever visited his grave. It became a quest; I had to put things right, thank him for his sacrifice and that I will always remember.
